IHSS (In-Home Support Services)
IHSS offers a higher level of care. This Client-directed program allows unskilled caregivers to be trained by the Client and supervised by both the Client and our Registered Nurse to perform some higher level functions that are needed on a regular basis.
Examples of IHSS tasks include:
- Blood Sugar Monitoring
- Catheter Care
- Medication Administration
- Minor Wound Care
- Range of Motion Exercises
- Skilled Transfers
- Vital Signs Monitoring
IHSS is only available for Medicaid clients.
